Dakka's Articles
I've been meaning to post about this for a while, but dakka's articles listing now has over 350 articles. There are some real gems of tactical advice, modeling and painting advice, great army profiles and general interesting things there, almost all of which have been added by the dakka community and articles team.
A lot of the time the articles go unappreciated by people who just check out the forum, so I thought I'd highlight them and even if the articles home page does not change that often, there are constantly updates and new articles are being added in the background at the rate of 2-3 per day.
Anybody (even lurkers) can add an article, and all the information you need can be found on the left hand side of the articles section of dakka so check it out if you have anything wargaming related that you want to share with the world.

'you GET TO convert DA KOPTA!!!' WE HAVE A WINNER!
After waaay to long a wait (sorry about that, the holidays got in the way), the judges final votes have been counted, and just as with the preliminary public vote, we have a clear-cut winner by unanimous decision. This amazing Kopta conversion by one of the best conversion modelers on our site, Teek.
We've even got some amazing hi-rez pictures of Teek's winning entry on display in the new Dakka Gallery, so you can really zoom in and check out the amazing detail on his model (click on any of these pictures to jump to them in the Dakka Gallery so you can zoom in on them).

So Congratulations goes out to Teek and all the other participants in this contest. Their entries all really were amazing and the amount of creativity and talent on display is truly inspiring.
To see a full list of which Dakka members contributed which entries, and to see how the judges' final voting went, please visit the Mekboy Challenge Voting thread, and don't forget to congratulate and compliment all the entrants!
