So I bought the new Black reach set, but I dont plan on playing marines. I simply wanted the terminators, templates, and dreadnought. I play Chaos and today I began on the journey of converting some models into chaos stuff. When I saw the SM Captain, I originally was going to simply convert him into a chaos Lord. But then it hit me, I have the bits to do a bit better than that. I then spent the next few hours Converting the Black Reach SM commander into Ahiriman. I would love to hear what you guys think.

The left arm looks extremely huge and doesn't match the model, but a closer pic may reveal otherwise.

Well I can say one thing for certain, you've got OK taste in manga but should definitely pick up Battle Angel Alita and Death Note.

I agree, the conversion is a solid csm sorcerer but the arm is abit off, i have two spare BR commanders and will nick your idea for myself, but i'll use a plastic arm cut to fit rather than GS the arm.
but good going.

Yeah, the arm is a bit too chunky, but I had to work with the parts I had. I still think it turned out well.

Hmm. I would suggest rolling a piece of green stuff into a nice flat segment, then extending the cloak with said strip of green stuff to cover that awkward elbow. He's Tzeentch not Nurgle, remember. Loose, flowing robes can cover all manner of sins.

Take the arm off the Sergeant who is pointing and put it in there, it will look much better, as right now the model looks great, but the arm is a bit horrendous.
