So, no monthly vows for November from me. I've been assembly line painting for the better part of the year and I just need a break from it. That being said, I still tend to keep a list of the stuff I need to get painted and I can post pretty pictures and such here.

Ghazghkull - I'm feeling this guy becoming more of a Mega-Boss than the special character though.

Other Stuff:
Fantasy Troll (no idea where it came from, but I started it about a month ago and it still looks fun to paint)
02 November 2008 - The Warp Spiders are finished.

08 November 2008 - Finished up the repaint of the Juggernaut. Have to see what Sean thinks of this one. It looks alright, but the model wasn't in great shape when I got a hold of it. Have to see I guess. I'll get a pic posted tomorrow when I've light.
12 November 2008 - I've an old school Loota done as well. Pics posted below.

25 November 2008 - The rest of the Lootas are done well enough to go on the table. Still some detailing and washing to be done, but they're good to go for now.
26 November 2008 - Got my Drillboss done for now. I may wind up switching his arms out at some point, but he's good enough for the table at present. I'm behind on taking pictures, but that may have to wait until next week.
06 December 2008 - Finished up a metal Grot I had lying around; mostly to just get it out of my paint area.

I also visited some friends last weekend and we did some painting. Veronica was good enough to paint up a Mega-Nob for me and did a great job.

08 Dec 2008 - Finished up the Death Jester. I just have to do a basing job on him and he's good to go. I'll get a pic of him when I've better light. I also made a fair bit of progress on the last bolt pistol and chainsword Raptor. A wash of Gryphonne Sepia and he's finished.

18 Dec 2008 - Finished up the Shadowseer. The picture doesn't quite do her justice, but that's life. On the plus side, I think I'm starting to figure out blending. Definitely like working with the Reaper paints a little better when they're mixed 1:1 with matte additive.

Now, on to.....well, the raft of other stuff I've got to work on.
28 Dec 2008 - I've finished one Vostroyan Sniper and he turned out pretty well. I might do another wash on some of the parts to deaden the metallics a bit, but he's more or less done. Sean picked up an Inquisitor for me before Christmas, so I did her up. While that model was fun, I'm not all together pleased with how it turned out. It's tableworthy, but I've pretty much decided to put that piece in the category of 'to be stripped and repainted when I figure out blending well' pile. I may do some additional detail on the model as well, but it's table ready for the time being and that's good enough.

I've some time off coming, so I'm going to try to spend some quality time with my camera. It's high time I got the macro function properly figured out. Hopefully, that will yield some better pictures.
29 Dec 2008 - So I got inspired to do something with the Deff Dread in my bitz box today (or more accurately last night). I've gotten him stripped down and based with a chunk of the detail started.

I'm still not entirely sure about the weapon load out, but I'm sure that will come. I might just wind up busting out the magnets and being done with the indecision.. I'll either be going with dual Skorchas or a Skorcha and an extra CCW. Once that's done, I'll be trying to figure out how I want to build a Kustom Force Field onto this thing. My initial thought was to go with a couple of targeting arrays from Tau suits, but that won't look nearly gaudy enough for my fine clanking monstrosity.
30 Dec 2008 - I've gotten the legs finished and most of the remaining bits at least started. On to the close combat arms!

03 Jan 2009 - I'm back from Waterloo and I've managed to add a few items to the list (the Autarchs). I'm pretty much announcing the Kommando with the Burna and Nazdreg done at this point. I've still some details to do on them, but that's simple enough to do. Both models are ready for the table at any rate. I've started the Kustom Forcefield Generator for my Deff Dread, so we'll see how that goes.
07 Jan 2009 - I got the gallery figured out and the macro function on the camera. It's amazing how much better things work if you do them properly. Anyway, I've also gotten my Deff Dread table worthy, which is great. The pictures are located here. http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/images-7189-999_Deff%20Dread%20-%20WIP.html
As to the rest, I've a couple of objective markers done and I'm working on my Wierdboy since he's been in the to paint box for ages uncounted. I'm held up on him and the Khorne Lord until I get some more paint though, so I'm currently working on other bits and pieces; mostly Ork stuff since I've not really had the desire to do the fine detail required to really get to work on the Autarchs. No worries though. They'll go quickly once I get the spotter out.
